We announce the death of Cleo Wright Smith of Barnesville, Georgia, who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her father James Truman Wright; her husband Raymond Chandler Smith; and her siblings, Charles Wright, Frank Wright, Bentley Wright, Larry Wright, Bobby Wright, Clifford Wright, Frances Earle and Rachael Rhodes.
She is survived by: her mother Clara Nicholson Wright; her children, Roger Smith (Grace), Susan Smith and Ricky Smith; her grandchildren, Melissa Levy, Shylah Hawkins, Tarah Ziegler, Brian Miller, Brooke Miller, Brandy Miller, Richard Smith, II and Alexis Smith; and her brother Billy Wright. She is also survived by 21 great- grandchildren; 3 great-great-great grandchildren.
