She was predeceased by: her parent Dorothey Mae Harden; her siblings, Charlie Jenkins, Bertha Wilson (Tommy) and Patricia Goggins; and her aunt Helen Elizabeth Atwater.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Thornton (Willie), Carolyn Fambro, Lisa Collier, Elthman Harden (Amie), Walter Collier and Terell Harden (Pamela); her siblings, Walter Harden (Mildred), JoAnn Hall and Quania Smith; her aunts, Barbara Brown, Essie High and Shawn Richardson (James); her cousin Bertha McFaddin; and her friend Vernell Hansford. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
