He is survived by: his son Charlie Powell; his close friend Georgia Green; and his siblings, Annie Clark (Tony), Annie Francis Powell, Annie Clyde Harig (Donny), Henrietta Bowman, Georgia Woods, Brenda Cook, James Mizell, Larry Cook, Johnny Mizell (Ida Mae) and Robert Cook. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives friends.
