It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luann McDonald Bowie of Barnesville, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas James McDonald and Edna Clara Thornton McDonald; and her grandson Taylor Davis. She is survived by : her daughters, Roxanne Abigail Bowie, Suzanne Bowie Whitted (Chris), Joanne Bowie Davis (Tim) and Jerianne Weltha Bowie; her grandchildren, Abigail Rape Paul (Bryan), Naomi Jane Rape, Buddy Williams, Elijah Williams (Michelle), Thomas Davis (Brittany), Joseph Davis, Dalton Bowie and Emily Watts; her great grandchildren, Emma, Isaac, Griffin, Davey, Zander and Avery; and her siblings, Gail Berry, Ferrelle Bagley and Tommy McDonald. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
