We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2023, at the age of 53, Owen Adams III of Barnesville, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Owen J. Adams, Jr.; and his grandparents, Owen J., Frances Adams, Pauline Selph, Dot Singley and James K. "Bud Knight" Haywood.

He is survived by : his mother Josie Haywood Adams; his stepfather Neil Rooks; his sons, Calvin (Holly Adams) and David Rooks; his siblings, Tammie "Sis" and Mike "Shack" Shackelford; his niece Katie Jo Daniel; his half-brother Shannon Ethridge; and his cousins, Kim, Ginger, Judy, Lisa, Michelle, Keith, Shane, Allen and Mark.

In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Barnesville Animal Shelter (because of his love for animals).
