It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Lynn Hammond of Barnesville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sharon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father George McLendon (Gene) of Newnan; and her grandmothers, Myra O'Pry of Phenix City, AL and Doris Miracle of Reynolds. She is survived by: her son Justin Hammond (Ashley); her grandchildren, Cooper, Ava and Aiden of Montgomery, TX; her sister Bonnie Hensley of Barnesville; and her mother Susan Pines (Jacky) of Barnesville. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, aunts and uncles.
