She was predeceased by : her parents, George B. Smith and Myrtle Palmer Smith; her husband William Arthur "Billy" Cooper, Sr.; and her siblings, Jimmy B. Smith, George T. Smith, Margaret S. Miller and Annette S. Livingston.

She is survived by : her close friend Joe Martin of Davisboro; her son William A. Cooper, Jr. (Bill); her grandson Christopher S. Cooper (Allie W. Cooper); and her great grandchildren, Charis Jubilee Cooper of Bartow and Joshua Josiah Cooper of Bartow. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
