Vina Josey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vina Josey of Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Smith and Lois Smith; her husband Harris Bennett Josey; her son Tommy Josey; and her granddaughter Jenny Pennington.
She is survived by: her son Rev. Richard Josey (Lisa); her siblings, Fred Smith and Mabel Proctor; her grandson Richard "Jody" Josey; her great grandchildren, Richard Josey, III, Andy Pennington, Sara Josey, Katie Toussau, Hunter Josey, Micah Dent and Macye Nolan; and her great great grandchildren, Salem Josey, Madelyn Dent, Brody Toussau, Madison Toussau, Matthew Marolla, Jacob Pennington, Jeselyn Pennington, Jenny Pennington and Thomas Pennington. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Freedom Fellowship Church Cemetery (8515 Heards Bridge Rd, Bartow, GA 30413).
