She is survived by: her son Stacy Thornton (Tammy) of Jesup; her siblings, Vel James of Jesup and Donald Jones (Hazel) of Jacksonville, FL; her brother-in-law Ted Thornton (Shirley) of Screven; her stepchildren, Diane Lewis and Larry Lewis (Jeanie); her grandchildren, Chase Thornton (Tiffany) and Luan Register (Brian); her great grandchildren, Anna, Jordon, Brantley and Brendan; and her caregiver Caroline Story. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
