With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Doris Eavens of Baxley, Georgia, born in North Bergen, New Jersey, who passed away on March 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Seidel and Sophie Schlehner Seidel; her husband Edward Michael Eavens; her daughter Gail Eavens; and her brother William Seidel.
She is survived by : her children, Susan Eavens of Bennettsville, SC, Brian Eavens of Baxley and Michael Eavens (Linda) of Prospect, CT; her grandchildren, John, Daniel, Derek, Faith, Jeffrey and Zachary (Steven); and her caregiver Chastity Whitfield. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
