She was predeceased by : her parents, Elbert Gordon Shubert and Alice Ruby Echols Shubert; her husband Robert D. Jarrell Sr.; and her sons, Robert "Bobby" Jarrell Jr. and Richard Lee Jarrell.

She is survived by : her children, Frances E. Jarrell of Baxley, William E. Jarrell of Baxley and Joseph R Jarrell, Sr. of Baxley; and her siblings, Bettye Mullis of Jacksonville, FL, Mildred Roton of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Newton of Dalton, GA, Barbara Laufman of Oregon and Gordon Shubert of Jacksonville, FL..

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Appling Memorial Gardens (Sellers Rd, Baxley, GA 31513).
