He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Edward Hendrix, Sr. and Opaul Farmer Hendrix; and his brother Dewey Edward Hendrix, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mayers Cox Hendrix of Baxley; his children, Christina Hendrix of Hampton and Daniel Kimsey Hendrix (Kristi) of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Stephen Smith of Hampton, Julia Watson (Charlie) of Hampton, Josh Hendrix (Amber) of Louisville, KY, Samantha Hendrix of Toccoa, Kimberleigh Hendrix of Toccoa and Niki Cox of Baxley; his nephews, Greg Hendrix, Tim Hendrix and Jeff Hendrix (Melanie) of Dallas, TX.; and his close friends, B. J., Sheila Marcum, Bob and Brenda Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swain Funeral Home (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Swain Funeral Home - Baxley (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513).
