He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Copeland and Fanny Marie Hendricks Copeland; and his siblings, Jerry, Jimmy, Juanita, Joyce, Joan, Jeanette and Jackie.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Copeland; his son Tim Copeland (Scarlett); his granddaughters, Alexandria Orvin (Justin) and Sinclair Branch (Justin); his great grandchildren, Emmaline, Isla and Scarlett; and his nephews, Keith Davis (Robbie) and Kip Davis (Rhonda).
