He is survived by: his wife Betty Howard; his children, Britney Solomon (Chrislon), Sandra Britt (Michael), Marcus Drake (Andi) and Venis Mims, Jr.; his godsons, Franklin Bell (Trinity), Christopher Bell and Rashard Hall; his brother Bryant Howard (DeeDee); his grandmother Susan Buston Powell; his aunts, Elaine Solomon, Glenda Burse and Vanessa Gibbs; and his uncle Dale Butler.
