He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Clinton Bass and Bertie Maybell Ryals Bass; and his siblings, Sarah Nell Herndon, Betty Faye Jackson, James Ernest Bass, Stephen Clinton Bass and Jacob Edward Bass.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Rentz Bass; his children, Misty Taylor (Richard), Melanie Gardner (Timmy), Jeffery Bass (Cindy) and Clint Bass (Regena); and his sisters, Thelma Rentz and Ann Patterson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
