It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Ruth Everett of Baxley, Georgia, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse W. Cowart and Maggie Spivey Cowart; her sons, Alan and Bryan Everett; and her siblings, Jerry, Billy Cowart and Helen Lightsey.

She is survived by : her husband Winston Everett; her daughter Pam; her children-in-law, Keith Thomas and Ann Everett; her grandchildren, Amber Griffis (Josh), Kayla Thomas (Kasey), Beth Williams (Grey) and Abby Roberts (John); her great grandchild Madison Griffis; her sister Jan; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Whitley, DeAnna Cowart, Doris Jenkins, Linda Woolard (Jimmy), Shirley Arnold (Bill) and Wilma Yopp (Ronnie). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
