It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mollie Jean Gumm of Baxley, Georgia, born in Ludowici, Georgia, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Blocker and Hattie Johnson Blocker; her husband Richard Gumm; and her sisters, Vera Dunham, Grace Mitchum, Eunice DuRose and Myrtle Lee Futch.
She is survived by : her daughters, Amy Golden of Cresent and Georgia Richard Gumm II (Carolyn) of Manassas. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
