It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Joy Morris of Baxley, Georgia, born in Cuthbert, Georgia, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nancy Joy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nancy Joy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father Jonathan Bradley Morris, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Aaron Joshua Morris; her mother Mary Morris; her brother Jonathan Morris (Ashley); and her nephew J. J. Morris. She is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God (3397 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Nancy Joy Morris Memorial Fund (c/o Swain Funeral Home P.O. Box 207 Baxley, Georgia 31515).
