She is survived by: her husband Michael Whitmore; her children, Pamela Fedrick (Tammy Hill) of Baxley, Travis Carter (Mabell) of Baxley, Ricky Carter Sr. of Baxley and Michael Whitmore Jr. (Myesha Whitmore) of Portland; her siblings, Aaron Hill (Angela) of Jacksonville, FL, Johnnie Bennett of Baxley, GA, George Bennett (Pauline) of Jesup, GA, Wayne Bennett of Killeen, TX, Rutha Hall (Oliver) of Baxley, GA, Lola Kaye Wynn of Baxley, GA, Deloris Coley of Lawrenceville, GA, Doris Tyson (Reginald) and Savilla Hill of Brunswick, GA; her grandchildren, Alexis Robinson, Denzel Hill, Destinee Carter, Ricky Carter Jr., Colby Smith, Serenity Carter, Trevyous Chandler (Mia), Jaylon Smith, Jada Fedrick and Braxten Carter; her great grandchildren, Ricky Carter III, A'zaiah Hill, Serenity Jade Kelsey, Denzel Hill Jr., Ryder Carter, Tyrune Kelsey Jr. and Kylo Carter; and her goddaughter Joyce Williams (Jet) of Baxley, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. M. Brown Funeral Home (26 Northside St, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First African Baptist Church. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Old Field Cemetery.
