He is survived by: his wife Linda Pritchett Nix; his children, Richard "Tommy" Nix, Jr. (Karen), William "Bill" Nix (Tammy), Henry "Allen" Nix (Alicia), Valerie Ammons (Shane) and Michelle McNeal (Anthony); his grandchildren, Meagan Cavanaugh (Brian), Kathryn French (Shane), Bryan Nix, Hank Allen, Rachel Nix, Chris Nix (Brittney), Brett Ammons, Hope Ammons, Brady Ammons, Jake Carter and Jenna Carter; his great grandchildren, Julian Cavanaugh, Owen Cavanaugh, Colt Nix and Sadie Mae Nix; his sisters, Nancy Bartlett, Martha Beckum and Carolyn Wright (Mike); his sister-in-law Madeline Nix; and his caregivers, Star, Tina, Rhonda, Sharon, Brittany and Nancy.
