She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carter and Lou Ella Carter. She is survived by: her husband Lee J. Sweat, Jr.; her daughter Jackie Smiley; her son-in-law Matt Brauninger; her grandson Brayden Brauninger; her siblings, Wayne (Jonnilee Carter), Steve (Debbie Carter), Spencer (Gayle Carter), Shirley Medders (Larry) and Nick (Cindy Buonamia); and her pet Bella.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carter Cemetery.
