It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Songa Ellaner Crews of Baxley, Georgia, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley A. Dean and Sadie Marie Dean (McNeal); and her siblings, Lois Marie Dean, Carolyn Watson, Marilyn Hiers, Elwood Dean, Edward Dean, Van Allen Dean, Dudley Dean Jr. and Stanford Dean.
She is survived by: her husband Lucius C. Crews, III; her sons, Lucius Crews, IV of Baxley and Stacy Wayne Crews of Baxley; her siblings, Sandra Turner of Baxley, Jennifer Dean Snyder of Florida and Randy Dean of New York; her grandchildren, Lucius Crews (Michell Escamilla), Morgan Lust (Bradley), Tyler Crews (Marissa), Syles Teston (Maranda) and Raylee Farley; and her great grandchildren, Katherine Crews, Elena Crews, Lincoln Lust, Bailey Lust, Syles Teston, Jr. and Sawyer Teston.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Swain Funeral Home (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (3785 10 Mile Rd, Baxley, GA 31513).
