It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Louise Teston of Baxley, Georgia, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Gibson Newham and Annie Mae McKinney Newham; and her husband Julian W. Teston. She is survived by : her children, Pam Anderson Davis (Greg) of Hazlehurst, Gene Anderson (Lisa) of Hazlehurst, Terrell Anderson (Cheryl) of Hazlehurst and Tony Teston of Douglas; her grandchildren, Ashley Anderson of Albany, KY and Warren Davis of Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchild Jaston Anderson of Albany, KY.; her friend Peggy Hall; and her pet Skeeter.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swain Funeral Home (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Burkett Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
