With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theron J. Altman Jr. (Baxley, Georgia), who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Theron may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Altman and Jewell Rich Altman. He is survived by: his children, Paige Robinson of Fleming Island, FL, James Altman-Wilson (Steve) of Jacksonville, FL, David Altman (Ivannia) of North Augusta, SC and Danny Altman (Dani Kaye) of Augusta, GA; and his brothers, W. D. Altman of Jesup, Wayne Altman (Sula) of Savannah, Danny Altman (Cheryl) of Vidalia and Red Altman (Linda) of Brazoria, TX.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
