He was predeceased by : his father Vernon Stone; and his brothers, Eugene and Steve Stone. He is survived by : his wife Eugenia "Genie" Stone of Baxley; his sons, Troy, Leigh Stone of Douglasville and Trent Vernon Stone of Denville, NJ; his siblings, Mary O'Berry of Hazlehurst, Linda Stone of Hazlehurst and G. W. Stone of Tifton; his aunt Dorothy Purvis of Hazlehurst; and his grandchildren, Levi, Kate and Jake.
