Willliam leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Willliam’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Willliam will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his father William Alfred Bowers, Sr. (Lora Elizabeth Tuten Bowers); Lora Elizabeth Tuten Bowers. He is survived by: his wife Deloris Willis Bowers; his son William A. Bowers III (Toni); his grandson Jack William Bowers; his sister Elizabeth Bowers Hall (Randall); and his mother-in-law Nancy Willis. He is also survived by one niece, one great niece, two great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swain Funeral Home - Baxley (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Baxley First Church (217 S Main St, Baxley, GA 31513).
