She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah B. Browning and Rachel Higgs Browning; her husband Thomas Evans "Tommy" Cato; and her daughter Sharon Cato. She is survived by: her children, Carol Alderman (Richard), James Cato (Paula), Tina Bridwell (Mark), Robert Cato (Sarina), Larry Cato, Tony Cato (Serena) and Mark Cato; her siblings, Bobby Browning and Betty Pyles; and her caregivers, Renee Taylor and Nola Meeks. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
