He is survived by: his wife Sharon Simpson Branch; his children, William Scott Branch (Andrea), David Edward Branch Jr. (Katie), Stephen McLaughlin Branch (Randi) and Lauren LeClaire Branch Strickland (Tony); his sister Marcelle Mahan; and his grandchildren, Lillian, Abigail, Benjamin, Ellavie, Vivianna, Colburne, Elijah, Bryson, Evan, Charlotte, Eliza and Rowan.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Fellowship Church (1120 Malcom Bridge Rd, Bogart, GA 30622). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
