She is survived by: her children, Sandi Peters (Tom) of Madeira Beach, FL, Samuel Altizer, Jr. of Dublin, VA, Steven Altizer (Lisa) of Lynchburg, VA, Charlie Altizer (Michelle) of Madison, GA and Tony Altizer (Stephanie) of Breese, IL.; her grandchildren, Jonah Crouse, Samantha Malone (Mario), Kristen Breedlove (Christopher), Tyler Altizer, Isaac Altizer (Courtney), Trevor Altizer, Addie Altizer (Nick Martinez), Rebekah Berkley (Hunter), Jase Bingman and Claire Bingman; her great grandchildren, Kobe Lewis, Caleb Altizer and Lucas Berkley; and her siblings, J. C. Johnson (Julie), Lorene Counts (Bill), JoAnne Ester (James), Danny Johnson (Angie) and Scotty Johnson (Lori). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Singleton Funeral and Cremation Service (1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
