She was predeceased by: her brother John "Hughie" Wells of Statham; her sister-in-law Alice LePack Scott of Athens; and her son-in-law David George of Villa Rica. She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Wells and Shirley Wells of Winder; her husband Terrell Ashe; her children, Valerie Dickey (Joshua), Victoria George, Bill Shealy, Cody Ashe and Evan Ashe; her brother Edward Jerry Wells; her sister-in-law Phyllis Wells; and her grandchildren, Leelynn, Laik and Skyann Joy Redding. She is also survived by 4 Nieces, 9 Great-Nieces and Nephews, and 4 Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes (1211 Jimmy Daniel Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30677). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the West Chapel.
