He was predeceased by: his grandfather Daniel Merritt. He is survived by: his parents, Adriane Lynn Cook and David Wayne Merritt; his siblings, Christian Cook of Waycross, Serenity Merritt of Waycross, Matthew McMaster of Waycross, Michael McMaster of Waycross and Thomas McMaster of Waycross; and his grandparents, Rodney Cook (Bridget Hall) of Homosassa, FL, Michelle Crosby (Carey) of Blackshear and Debra Merritt of Blackshear. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles.
