He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Lee and Marion Nadine Sweat Whitley; his siblings, Linda Fay Kirkland, Tommy Whitley and Johnny Whitley; and his stepdaughter Hope Peeples.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Whitley of Bradenton, FL, Linda Chaney (Brent) of Gray, GA and Pamela Hendricks (Clayton) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Drew Manning, Cierra Manning, Alyssa Manning, Crissy Christian (Wade), Caedmon Chaney, Devin Taylor, Kendle Taylor and Sydney Taylor; his fiancée Lillian Taylor of Blackshear; and his siblings, Helen Whitley of Blackshear, Mary Allman of Blackshear, Patricia King (Richard) of Patterson, David Whitley (Karen) of Blackshear and James Whitley of Hoboken. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home Chapel (210 Johnson St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
