She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dewey and Madese Bennett Davis; her husband James Kenneth Waters; and her siblings, Janice Redding, Pomeroy Davis and Roger Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna; her son-in-law Joshua Peacock of Alma; her son Neal Waters; her daughter-in-law Brenda Thigpen of Waycross; her sisters, Mildred Taylor (Virgil) of Alma, Lucy Day of Waycross, Elaine Day of Blackshear and Judy Carter of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Breanna Sinclair (Mitch), Ken Waters (Tracy Jones), Alec Sweat, Reagin Peacock, Jada Peacock, Thomas Thigpen and Abby Booth; and her great grandchild Hunner Sinclair. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
