He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Myrene Joyner of Blackshear, Ben and Malissa Walker of Blackshear, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Cassandra; his children, Jacob and Julie; his parents, Sandra Whitaker (Nelson) and Charles Joyner; his siblings, Malissa Brown (Mark), Sandy Owen (Tony), Suzanne Stokes (Brian), Sabrina Tolbert (Chris), Sabra Daley (Ryan), Jennifer Purdy (Chris) and Blake Joyner; his parents-in-law, Leon and Peggy Phillips; and his sister-in-law Lena Smallwood. He is also survived by 40 nieces and nephews.
