With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Johnson Jr. of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Quinlan, Texas, who passed away on March 15, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burney and Eula Vera Griffith Johnson, Sr.; his son Dean Alan Johnson; and his sisters, Mary Jo Selgrath and Joyce Odum.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Blocker Johnson of Blackshear; his children, Valerie Shaddox (Jon) of Cypress, TX, Theresa Taylor (Tony) of Blackshear, Elizabeth Johnson of Blackshear, David Johnson (Tracie) of Blackshear and Steven Johnson (Andrea) of Alma; and his sisters, Mildred Estes (Nolan) of Dallas, TX and Jean James of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
