It is with sadness that the passing of Curtis Neal Steedley of Blackshear, Georgia is shared. Curtis, born on July 22, 1958 in Alma, Georgia, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Neal and Jimmie Sue Tyre Steedley, Sr.; his sister Dinah Miles; and his nephews, Whit and Walt Hollis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Booker Steedley of Blackshear; his sons, Victor Steedley of Blackshear, Sergey Steedley (Tiffany Boyette) of Waycross and Yuri Steedley of Blackshear; his sister Kathy Hollis (Jerry) of Savannah; his siblings-in-law, Monroe Miles of Blackshear and Barbara Hodges (Glynn) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Emmerlynn Steedley, Bowen Steedley and Maebry Steedley; his nieces and nephews, Amber Miles, Landon Miles (Mara), Kyle Hollis (Hannah), Neal Hollis (Megan), Alice Hodges and Matthew Hodges (Jenny); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hadleigh Hodges, Watson Hollis, Anna Hampton Hollis and Lilah Miles; and his pets, Loki and Whiskey. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pearson-Dial Chapel (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
