It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Lee Best of Blackshear, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frances Sweet Key and John Henry Best, Jr.. He is survived by : his fiancée Janice Cooley of Blackshear; his brother Robert "Bob" Best; his sister-in-law Dr. Julia Johnson of North Hero, VT; his nephews, Scott Best (Kristine) and Michael L. Best (Namsuk); and his great-nieces, Kameryn Best, Lauryn Best and Minah Best. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
