He is survived by: his daughters, Ginnie Carter (Bruce) of Blackshear and Karen Owens of Blackshear; his grandchildren, Katelynn Carter Scott (Josh), Matthew Carter, Brayden Owens and David Hollis Owens; and his brother Robert Patrick Gallagher.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Jamestown Baptist Church (3800 ABC Ave, Waycross, GA 31503).
