He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Hamelin and Vivian Thomas Hamelin; and his daughter Faith Dawn Hamelin. He is survived by: his wife Karen Hamelin of Blackshear; his daughters, Naomi Hamelin, Ruth Hamelin and Rachel Hamelin; and his siblings, Roger Hamelin (Rebecca), Duane Hamelin, Dawn Martin and Patty Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
