He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Foy and Mildred Haire Kimbrell. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hetrick Kimbrell of Rochester, PA; his daughter Holly Kimbrell; his son-in-law Thomas Powell of Watkinsville; his sons, Devon F. "D. F." Kimbrell, Jr. of Patterson and Jason; his daughter-in-law Dawn Kimbrell of Waycross; his former wife Sally Sloan Dixon of Blackshear; his siblings, Joann Woodcock of Darien and Jackie Kimbrell (Pat) of Waycross; his grandchildren, Jason C. "J. C." Kimbrell (Ericka) and Hunter Kimbrell (Kylie); and his great grandchild Kaiden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Chapel (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
