He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Isabel Waters Cason; his siblings, Colleen Cason Cochran, Clara Cason O'Steen and John Malcolm "Mack" Cason; and his brother-in-law Joe Cochran.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Kenneth O'Steen of Blackshear; his nieces, Joni Cochran Farmer (Tim), Kena Butler (Steve) and Kathy Cason; his great-nephew Joey Farmer (Carlie); and his great-nieces, Cassie Fipps (Sam), Emilee Farmer, Kady King and Kenly Hacker (Jake).
