She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Callahan and Sally Ethel Moody Callahan; and her siblings, Robert Callahan, Richard Callahan, Glenn Callahan, Albert Callahan and Barbara Jane Callahan Boyd.
She is survived by: her husband Harrison Scott Ruger; her children, Sarah Wisecup (Steven) of Commerce and Scott Ruger of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Madison Wisecup, Henry Wisecup, Alex Wisecup, Joseph Ruger (Rebekah), Dakota Ruger and Caleb Ruger; her great grandchild Grayson Ruger; and her brother Larry Callahan of Blackshear. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
