She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hugh Ragan and Elizabeth Knight Ragan; her former husband Phillip E. Penn, Sr.; her husband Richard Henderson; her son Phillip E. "Pepper" Penn, Jr.; her grandson Robert A. "Rob" Johnson; and her siblings, Gladys Noble, Grace Owen, Althea Daniel and Willie Hugh "Bill" Ragan.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Penn Brooks (Keith) of Blackshear; her stepson Greg Henderson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Haley Ragan Ragsdale, Tajla R. Penn and Tatum Penn Powell; and her great grandchildren, Harlow Ragan Ragsdale, Haven Lexanne Ragsdale, Sutton Jude Powell and Crew McClain Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:45 AM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home and Crematory (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
