He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Faligan Ryals, Sr. and Iris Othell Groover Ryals; and his brother Keith Ryals. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ryals of Blackshear; his children, Hubert Faligan "Gator" Ryals, III, Danielle Lucas of Blackshear, Christopher Ryals (Elena) of Blackshear and Zach Ryals (Haley) of Homerville; his grandchildren, Garrett DuPont, Thomas Lucas, Jacey Ryals, Caden Ryals, Marlie Ryals, Reagan Ryals and Liam Ryals; and his sister Melinda Ryals of Lenox, GA.
