He was predeceased by: his parents, John Millender and Katie Smith Miles; his wife Dinah Sue Steedley Miles; and his siblings, Kay Lane Perritt and Sam Miles.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lisa Register (Scott) of Adel and John Dale Miles (Nell) of Blythe Island; his children, Amber Miles of Richmond Hill and Landon Miles (Marah) of Blackshear; and his granddaughter Lilah Kate Miles. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (670 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
