He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane Herrin Roberson and Joseph Edwin "Ed" Roberson; his daughter Mary Georgette Roberson; and his brother Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Alyce King Roberson; his children, E. L. Roberson (Sheila Rowell), Jimmie Rae Roberts (Robbie) and Danny Roberson (Karen); his grandchildren, Philip Roberson (Tanya), Payton Roberson, Drew Thigpen, Justin Roberts (Jamie), Raymond Roberts and Ansleigh Godwin (Dusty); his great grandchildren, Mason, Madox, Maylee Roberson, Mia, Leila Ruth, Liza Rae Roberts and Dawson Godwin; and his sisters, Sonja (Dewayne Tuten), Wanda Peacock, Geraldine Walley and Gloria King. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
