He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Allen and Azalee Shuman Sapp; his grandson Talmadge James "T. J." Roberson; his siblings, Clara Jo Sapp, Robert Sapp (Elouise), Allen Sapp, Carl Sapp (Ruthie) and Earl Sapp (Barbara); and the mother of his children Minnie Lanell Beverley Sapp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Darnell Sapp of Blackshear and Rita Suzanne White (Jimmy) of Blackshear; his grandsons, Brandon Sapp (Katie), Tyler Roberson, James Harper (Courtney) and Joshua Clark (Terissa); his great grandchildren, Lexy Jones, Ashton Roberson, Adrian Roberson, Trent Roberson, Trinity Roberson, Aaden Sapp, Alexander Sapp, Christian Harper, Kaylee Harper, Alec Clark, Dominic Clark, Isabella Clark and Sofia Clark; his brother Raymond Sapp (Lori) of Blackshear; and his sister-in-law Linda Sapp of Blackshear. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
