He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie D. Farquhar and Lessie Lee Goodlett Farquhar; his wife Beth Monroe Farquhar; and his siblings, W. Goodlett Farquhar, Darwin Farquhar and Martha Farquhar Daughtery.
He is survived by: his daughter Sally Farquhar Tillapaugh; and his son-in-law John Tillapaugh of St Simons Island, Georgia..
