He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin and Grace Davila Vickers, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Denise Collins Vickers of Blackshear; his daughters, Bonnie Edge (Joe) of Millwood and Sherry Vickers (John Johnson) of Blackshear; his siblings, Randi Wolfenberger of Texas and Joseph Vickers (Sherri) of Alabama; his grandchildren, Shelton Strickland, Amber Hayes, LeighAnn Carter (Seth) and Alexis Fairchild (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Parker Monighetti, Nova Fairchild and Logan Carter; his nieces, Kerri Taft (Kevin) and Kelly Wolfenberger; and his nephew Thomas Harris. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home (659 Main St, Blackshear, GA 31516).
