She was predeceased by: her parents, George Johnson and Bertha Mae Manning Johnson; and her sisters, Marian Johnson Dixon, Bertie Johnson Dixon and Nancy Lee Johnson Brantley.
She is survived by: her husband Winton Taylor of Blackshear; her children, Gary Taylor (Phyllis) of Waycross, Dennis Taylor of Blackshear and Susan Hodges of Blackshear; her grandchildren, Amy Knowlton (Trevor) of Brunswick, Darby Greene of Blackshear, Jamie Hodges (Erika) of Patterson, Dustin Taylor (Sam) of Waycross, Derek Taylor (Hailey) of Blackshear and Clay Taylor (Anna) of Blackshear; her great grandchildren, Kenzley Dykes (Cole), Rhett Peeples (Allie), Kneley Crews (Andy), Andrea Peeples, Alyssa Knowlton, Austin Hodges (Merril), Jana Peeples, Beck Hodges, Eliza Taylor, Emilia Taylor, Dawson Taylor, Eva Cate Taylor, Chloe Taylor and Cooper Taylor; her great great grandchildren, Ryder Dykes, Cash Dykes, Colee Jane Dykes, Harper Hodges, Branch Crews, Kennedi Crews, Drake Roberson and Barrett Peeples; and her siblings, Carolyn Anderson, Shirley Douglas (Phil), Barbara Clark (Ted), Terry Johnson (Cheryl) and Eddie Courson (JoAnn). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Youmans Chapel Baptist Church (3497 Dean Still Rd, Blackshear, GA 31516). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
